Brothers Harvey and Jerald Rognes worked together for a construction company when they decided to go out on their own. In 1972 they focused in on the Farming Division with employing just the two of them. They later grew to add the excavating, grading, sewer and water, and now have 35-40 employees.

Jeremy, Jerald's son, started working for the company full time in 1994. Jeremy now heads the sewer and water Division.
